Albizia saman (Jacq.) Mueller Fm. Fabaceae Subfam. Mimosoides

A natural durable and resistant to attack by insects and fungi; very resistant to the elements; it is considered as durable as teak. Easy to work, but with limitations for turnery medium shine, veined. Optim al gluing and varnishing or it usually has cross-linked, rough grain.

The drying can be carried out without problems in the open air. Good finish. It is not recommended to drill or turn it.

Medium quality furniture, boxes, carpentry, canoes, poles, cart wheels, stables, pens, prefabricated houses, panels, decorative plates, bowls, trays, gabinetes, plywood, structural laminates, tongue and groove, gun butts, molds.
